NORTHPORT Ruth Earldene "Dene" Englebert Capley, age 79, of Northport, died Oct. 10, 2010, at DCH Regional Medical Center. Services will be 3 p.m. today at Sunset Funeral Home, a Dignity Memorial Provider. Private burial will follow in Memory Hill Gardens. Visitation will be one hour prior to services at the funeral home.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Earlie Bruce and Lessie Mae Englebert; three brothers, Stanley and Steve Englebert, and Thomas Long; and one sister, Helen Long Waller.
Survivors include her husband, Joe N. Capley; one daughter, Beverly Glenn Garrison (Mark); two sons, Ray Glenn (Sharon) and Norris Capley (Dena) all of Northport; 15 grandchildren; and 9 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Ed Hysaw, Glen Miller, Donald Clark, Jimmy Houston, Gary Lett, and James Tierce.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Eagles Wings.
