A devoted wife, loving Mama, the greatest Mawmaw, a true friend, and a member of Yellow Creek Baptist Church. She was a living example of the grace and mercy of Christ. All her pains and sufferings of this life were left behind as she entered the glorious gates of heaven. Even though we grieve, we are comforted knowing our Lord Jesus Christ welcomed Glynda home.
Awaiting with Jesus in Heaven were her parents, Albert and Janie Sanford, Husband Reggie, of 52 years, Brother James Sanford and Sister Judy Hamner. As their reunion commenced in joyous celebration, those who remain will cherish her memory and continue her legacy of faith and family: Her sister, Patsy Murphy (Mike) children, Scott and Tara Simpson, Keith and Sara Simpson, grandchildren Jackson and Ellie Grace Simpson and dogs, Chico, Coco and grand-dog Lulu.
Glynda loved the Lord, loved her kids, grandbabies and dogs. She was so proud of Jackson and Ellie Grace, she loved them fiercely, she was a mama that was always there and made things happen no matter the obstacle put in front of her. She was the biggest encourager for her kids and grandkids. She would pass time by reading her bible and talking to the Lord in prayer. When she was able, she enjoyed having flowers and tending to plants. She always kept the hummingbirds fed and love to sit and watch them. She always put everyone else before herself and was always there to help anyone in need. She had the biggest heart and was always there to give knowledgeable advice when asked. Her family is proud to know she is rejoicing on those streets of gold with our savior for all eternity.
Pallbears will be Michael Murphy, Christopher Murphy, Joseph Hamner, Donnie Smith, Russ Hewitt and Randy Falls
