Annie Lee Cooper

Visitation will be 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Sunset Funeral Home with the funeral at 11:00 am. Ken Cheek will be officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Presbyterian Church Cemetery.

Annie was born January 16, 1955, in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. She is survived by her daughter, Tammy Walters (Scott) and grandchildren Jared (Tristen) and Jordan. She is also survived by her sisters, Vera Campbell, Dot McCoy, Vie Sanford (Bobby), and Linda Johnson, sisters-in-law, Faye Cooper and LaDonna Cooper as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her parents Perry Cooper Sr. and Alma Cooper and her siblings, Lilly Mae Thomas, Nancy Lee Cooper, Frank Zeke Cooper, Perry "Penny" Cooper, Jr. and Freddie Cooper.

Annie loved her family and enjoyed spending time with them. Her grandchildren were her bright spots in her life and she loved them endlessly. She also loved her dog Katelyn so very much.

Pallbearers will be Scott Walters, Jared Walters, Jeff Bradley, Bill Johnson, Richard Campbell, and Cole Campbell.

Honorary pallbearers are DCH MICU unit, 1st Floor, Dr John Miller, Dr. Christopher Rony, Dr. John Warren, and special nurses Andrew and Jackson that took such excellent care of her during her final days.
