October 18, 1929 - February 3, 2017
Wally (Walt) passed away peacefully, in his
sleep, with his wife of 67 years by his side. He
was predeceased by his son Gary Walter,
mother Elsie and brothers Leonard and Ron.
Wally will be deeply missed by his loving wife
Iris, daughters, Gayle (Gord) and Susie (Phil)
and daughter-in-law, Lek. Wally had six
grandchildren, Kara-Leigh (Brenton),
Michelle (Livio), Rory, Melanie, Cameron and
Bradley (Eva). Four great-grandchildren,
Sienna, Nathan, Brodie and Isabella.
Brothers, Stan (Lynn), George (Fran), his
sister, Ivy and sister-in-law, Phyllis, as well as
many other relatives and friends. Wally loved
art and he was a very talented painter; his
other passion was photography, especially
taking photos of his family! Wally will be
remembered for his dazzling smile, gentle
and kind nature, everyone that had the
honour of knowing him, were truly blessed!
He will be forever in our HEARTS! There will
be no service per his request. Donations may
be made to Alzheimer Society or BC Cancer
Foundation for those who wish.
