It is with a heavy heart that we share the loss of our beloved Graham on August 8th 2022 at the age of 49. Graham passed away at his home in North Vancouver due to health complications associated with IGA, a Kidney Disease that he was born with. Graham fought against his illness for many years with a great amount of strength, will and the support of the amazing kidney team at St Paul’s Hospital.
Graham was loved by so many. He is survived by his mother Susan, father Alex, birth father Rob, sisters Andrea, Heather and girlfriend Kerbie. He will be remembered by his nieces Skylar, Jaqueline, Courtney, and by the many close friends who cherished him dearly.
Graham grew up with his family in Gibsons BC and graduated from UVic in 1999 with a B.A Major in Sociology. He then moved to the lower mainland where he resided in North Vancouver. His life was filled with his love for sports and fitness and he was an incredible athlete. Graham loved soccer and swimming, played competitive tennis in his early adult years and went on to become a staple in the bodybuilding community who also had a passion for martial arts.
Graham dedicated his life to being of service to others where he mentored many young men to become the best versions of themselves, among many others whose lives he touched in so many ways. He will be remembered by everyone for his selfless nature, helping hand and his kind heart.
Graham also dedicated his life to being of service to animals in need and adopted many over the years who were suffering, nursing them back to health and giving them a loving home.
Anyone that knew Graham would describe him as genuine, kind, humble, selfless, and an all round great human being who was extremely liked and known as a gentle giant.
Graham will be deeply missed by so many.
There will be a memorial/celebration of life held for Graham at 1pm on September 23rd at The Pipeshop in the North Vancouver Shipyards. His service is open to everyone who cared for him and would like to remember and celebrate his life.
