i remember the first day of kindergarten meeting ryan and he was my first ever friend and i remember being so happy when we meet each other and played on the playground and going down the slide together ! and then 5 years fly by and we go to middle school together and i remember i went to every soccer game or practice to support him as a best friend and i still forever today will remember you in my heart forever and i love you ryan and ur beautiful mother will always consider yall as my family 🤗🤗

I love you and miss you. Please watch over your mom and dad and your brother.

Didn't know you but you are in my prayers as is your family. You did not deserve this, no young person does. Like another message said, you are the face of innocent youth and remind me of my teenage children. God bless you. 

I did not have the pleasure of knowing you Ryan; I wish so badly that you could have “gone pro” / had the chance to grow up into the fine young man that you most definitely were already becoming.
I am just a mom. I am Mom who  is sitting here wishing I could make dreams come true; I can’t but I believe you still can.  I don’t know your Mom & Dad (brother) but they need you. You are a “good old soul” with a family missing your hugs. The DREAMS will  help heal their wounded hearts. 
A Mom’s (and Dad’s) love for a child (our boys) is pure and infinite;  and even in their absence we never stop yearning for their love.

I'm thinking about Ryan today.  I didn't know him but he represents everyone's son and brother.

Not a day goes by that I do not think of Ryan, a young man I never knew.  
My heart goes out to his parents and family.   May the Lord comfort them.

I didn't know Ryan nor do I know the family. I saw his story a few weeks ago and my heart just shattered. What a bright and joyful young man!! Just reading about him and seeing his photos, one can see how extraordinary he was. His eyes shine in his photos with pure joy and kindness. What a devastating loss. A beautiful life taken so senselessly and far too soon. I've never been touched in such a way by a complete stranger. The tears have fallen and and the grief I feel for his loss is immense. I can't imagine what you're all going through. My sincere condolences to you all!! I have a son who was born in May of the same year as Ryan. Something about him reminds me of my son. Life is precious and this makes me realize how frail it can be. In my heart I truly believe that you will see him again one day. God needed him more. Sometimes life doesn't make sense to us. One thing I am sure of, is that sweet boy has touched many, many hearts across the world. I sure know he's touched mine. Blessings. 

I do not know your family but after reading Ryan’s story felt I had to reach out to tell you how terribly sorry I am for the tragic loss of your beautiful son. I am praying for God’s peace and comfort for each of you.  Please know that so many are touched and saddened beyond measure at this senseless loss.

I didn’t know your son but I do live in the neighborhood and I just want to say how sorry I am for your loss, It’s heartbreaking and I can’t imagine what you and your family are going through. He is up in heaven with the angels now.

To the Rogers  Family : Your beautiful son has a seat of honor in Heaven with all of the precious innocents who have gone before him. Take faith that he was not alone that night asa flurry of angels were there with him and escorted him home to Heaven. My son passed in 1998 at 19. I can truly empathize and I am here to tell you there will be light and laughter again. The love you shared cannot be diminished and will get you through the tough days. He will be close to you now so listen for him. God will bless you through this so have faith until you are reunited. Take care and know that prayers are going upward for all of you. May God bless you in your sorrow. 

I did not know Ryan in life but when I saw his smile in the news my heart sunk. He looked like a bright young man and he had so much more life ahead of him. God calls his strongest soldiers home. Sometimes it’s sooner then we expect. Just know 1000s of people are praying for Ryan and his family. Rest easy, young King. You earned your wings. ❤️

The instant I saw Ryan’s picture my heart dropped. He is the spitting image of my 14 year old grandson, even the braces. It made it agonizingly real the more I read about Ryan’s kind soul. My son shared that same sudden awareness when he saw Ryan’s picture and it’s impossible right now to look at my grandson without thinking of Ryan. No matter how many tears I shed for your sweet boy, I can’t even fathom your heartache. Please know that Ryan has touched the lives of people who never knew him. And be comforted that he is smiling down in the arms of his Heavenly Father. God bless you all and I am so, so sorry.

I am only a stranger who heard about your son on the news and cried and cried as I read about this tragic event. I am a mom to a two year old son who is my world. I cannot imagine what you are going through, but know that God is with you and even though the world may see a very dark place that there are many people who are thinking of you and your son.  He will be up in heaven I am sure with angels around him.

I have three sons, my youngest is 15 and I can't even imagine what you are going through.  This is such a senseless tragedy and my heart is breaking for you and for Ryan.

To the Rogers family,  I just read your story.  I am so sorry for your loss.  As a single mom of 2, 17 and 13, also soccer players for life, I especially feel your pain and even for me its unimaginable.  I hope at some point you have the strength to share his legacy publicly so that we can all hear how crucial it is to appreciate and love our children and each other.  Our prayers go up.

I didn't know Ryan but after hearing what happened it made me very upset I also loved sports when I was 15 I played soccer and baseball and hockey in Maryland. One of the happiest days of my life was when I became “ Auntie Michelle”
I remember taking him to the fire station, his baptism at Fenway Park, the huge bouquet of balloons when he turned 3, when his older cousins played with him in the yard, watching him play a soccer game when Bob and I came for a visit, collecting shark teeth at Vero Beach, watching Ryan and Justin release the baby turtles, the FaceTime calls “hi Auntie Michelle”. Getting the video of his hole in one! 
I was so happy to get a picture of him wearing the Messi jersey I bought him for Christmas! 
He will watch over all of you.

I didn’t know Ryan. I don’t know your family. I am heartbroken for your loss. As a mom of twin 13 year old boys, I look at Ryan and see my sons. I cannot imagine the pain you are going through.      Although I did not have the pleasure of meeting Ryan ( or Justin) in person- we have over five years of sharing stories about our children. Sharing the  ups and downs of motherhood , the struggles and the joys. Altin  and I are thankful for the skateboards, clothes, and amazing Halloween costumes the you and the boys have passed along. I share with Altin how special these things are especially from Ryan. As we are driving to Ryan’s celebration of life,  I asked the kids what their favorite memories are of Ryan. Unanimously they all said they most remember Thanksgiving 2019 when the Rogers family joined us for the holiday. That was a very special day! Of course all the soccer memories and tournament sleepovers hold social memories. Ryan was one of the sweetest, most mild mannered young men I’ve ever had the privilege of knowing. My thoughts, prayers amd sincere condolences are with Justin and Cindy and the rest of the family.  Ryan will be watching over you all and protecting you with his Angel wings. I had the privilege of  being one of Ryan's preschool teachers.  I remember, when Ryan would walk into the classroom, he would instantly smile--the biggest smile, that you could not help but feel happy inside! Ryan had such a big, beautiful heart and personality to match. He was shy at first, but once he became comfortable, he loved to show his silly side. Ryan was full of compassion and always thinking of others, especially whenever he saw his baby brother Justin.  Ryan was so inquisitive and willing to learn anything and everything! He even liked to help us teachers, clean the classroom.  I feel so honored to have been able to spend time with him...

PLAYFUL RYAN 😃
I  remember young 8 year old Ryan ripping around the house playing hide and seek with Ella and Justin. I remember his incredulous concern, excitement and possibly playful admiration as he found Ella hidden stuck in your top loading washing machine. He knew that was not good for her or machine but sure enjoyed the wackiness of the situation. As adults we were more worried about the balance bearings in the machine!!! LOVE ❤️

Cindy, Justin and Brian,

My two,  Logan and Gabe Lloyd, also 14 and 12 have been in school with your boys their whole life.  Logan describes Ryan as always being such a good good kid and playing with him on the playground and talking in middle school (which knowing the two of them, it wasn’t very much because they’re both very shy). But, nonetheless always they were each a trusted friendly face for each other. 
Gabe shared his last memory of Ryan which was last week while  Gabe and Justin were playing Rocket League on the XBOX, Ryan and Brian came into Justin’s room busting his chops about liking a girl. They were all laughing and it’s a fun memory for them to keep. 
Please know Logan, Gabe and I are just so incredibly sorry for this pain. 
And Cindy, as you and I have been in touch, please know we would be there for the memorial if we were not out of town. Sorry to miss it. He sure was a special kid.

The way Ryan and his brother Justin made a point to hug their dad before each game while mom coached the team. The gentle smile on Ryan's face when he was in pursuit of the ball. How he always played fair and clean. How he and Justin took the ball down the field together. The nice things Ryan said about his teammates that looked up to him. 

We will remember Ryan and the Rogers as the first family that we met when we moved to Florida in 2014. Memories include our boys playing together many times when they were younger, trick or treating and Halloween party, taking your boys to Grimaldis, and seeing them at I9 sports.  Ryan was such a handsome boy, and a great athlete and older brother to Justin. The whole community is grieving and missing this amazing young man! 

We will always remember him as a kind and friendly child. !!  playing soccer with my children in the park.

I will always remember the kindness Ryan showed my daughter. We will miss seeing him on the fields and will keep him and the Rogers in our hearts forever.
