Born on September 5, 1942 in Miami to Ken and Sally Mantovani, he built a successful career in Commercial Real Estate Development beginning in Miami. He moved to Ocala, FL in 1980 where, among other buildings, he built the Kmart Distribution Center, at the time the largest building under one roof. He continued developments throughout the country until his retirement. He was a long-time member and resident of Isleworth in Windermere, FL and Old Palm Golf Club in Palm Beach Gardens, FL. Golf was his passion for quite some time. He was an avid boater who loved to fish and spend time in the Islands of the Abacos with his family.
Robert is survived by his wife Aggie of 57 years, along with daughters Tina (Mark) Cooper of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and Toni (Allan) Van Nostrand, Jr. of Jupiter, FL, his brother Ken Mantovani, Jr. of Hiawassee, GA; five grandchildren, Robert Keck, Elizabeth Keck, Olivia Keck, Allan Van Nostrand III and Alexa Van Nostrand. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ken and Sally Mantovani, Sr.
Services will be held at St. Clare Catholic Church, 821 Prosperity Farms Rd. North Palm Beach, Saturday May 6th at 1:00pm.
