Linda was a kind, generous and thoughtful woman. Her contagious laugh and smile lit up any room. Linda was beautiful inside and out always putting everyone before herself. She loved her family immensely and was so very proud of them. Anyone who knew or loved Linda felt blessed to have her in their lives. She was a gift from God; an incredible Wife, Mother, Grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and Friend. She will truly be missed and will forever remain in our hearts.
Linda was also very active in charitable organizations. After her youngest daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at age 11 Linda became a dedicated volunteer with the American Diabetes Association. As a breast cancer survivor, Linda helped many other other women affected by the disease and became a Board Member of the Central New York Susan G Komen Foundation. Linda enjoyed theatre and was a long time active member of the Broadway Theatre League of Utica New York.
Linda is survived by her loving husband Lou, daughter Rosemarie and Husband Kenny Tanner of North Palm Beach, Fl. and daughter Belinda Girmonde of Palm Beach Gardens, Fl. She leaves three adored grandsons Patrick, Thomas, and KC whom she loved dearly. She is also survived by her sister Marie Ng and husband Peter of Monticello, NY and nephews Christopher and Anthony and brother David Lapone as well as many other friends.
Visitation will be held in North Palm Beach, FL and Utica, NY.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 8th from 5-8 pm with prayer service at 7:30 pm at Howard-Quattlebaum Funeral Home, 754 US Highway One, North Palm Beach, FL.
A Mass of the Resurrection will be Celebrated on Thursday, August 9th at 11 am at St. Clare Catholic Church, 821 Prosperity Farms Road, North Palm Beach, FL.
Memorial Service in Utica, NY to be announced at a later date.
