Jordan Baugh

Jordan Baugh was the first son of Garreth O’Neil Baugh and Erin Thomas Baugh. Jordan attended William T. Dwyer High School and graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Hospitality Business Management.

Jordan loved the water and enjoyed surfing, fishing and spending time on the beach. He was also a natural when it came to playing golf. Spending afternoons on the couch with family watching football games was always something Jordan cherished. Like his Dad, Jordan’s signature smile, big blue eyes and personality would light up a room. He had a heart of gold, and his hugs were simply the best!

Jordan’s biggest treasure in life was his brother, Colby Baugh. They had a very special unbreakable bond. There was nothing Jordan wouldn’t do for Colby, and he was always so proud of him. They made a point to talk everyday about their achievements and their struggles. It was a relationship every sibling would love to have.

Jordan’s uncle, Parker Baugh, was also like a brother. Being two years apart, they were inseparable. Often referred to by their friends as “Peanut Butter” (Parker) and “Jelly” (Jordan), they were quite the pair. Jordan valued his relationships with family and friends, and he was loved and adored by all who knew him.

Over the last year, Jordan took an interest in real estate. He was a great communicator and salesman, and he knew how to close a deal. Spending time with his “Pop Pop Steve” discussing business strategies and growing his career brought him so much joy. If only he could see what a promising future he had.

In addition to his parents and brother, Jordan is survived by his immediate family members including his maternal grandparents, Charnell and Richard Thomas; paternal grandparents, Eunice and Stephen Baugh; maternal great grandmothers, Carole Large and Lois Thomas. Aunts and Uncles, Kristen and Justin James, Lauren Geib, Nathan Thomas (Dory), Anne Burrows (John), Sarah Benet (Aymeric), Parker Baugh and many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Jordan was preceded in death by his great grandparents, Wilfred Large; Melva and Winston Baugh; Foye Johnson, William Taylor Johnson Sr., and Lt CMDR Richard Thomas.

Our lives will forever be changed over the loss of our “Jordie Bird.” There are no words to express our grief and sorrow, but we are thankful Jordan knew the Lord and is at peace with our Savior. “Whoever dwells in the shadow of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.” Psalm 91

We appreciate all of the love and support from family and friends. A “Celebration of Life” to honor Jordan will be held on Saturday, September 25, 2021 at Sarah Benet’s house located at 7706 163rd Ct. N., Palm Beach Gardens, FL. 33418.
