John N. St. Pierre

John N. St. Pierre, aged 89, departed peacefully from this life at his home in North Palm Beach, FL on November 21, 2017 with his loving family by his side. John was a Veteran of the United States Navy. He served his country for 4 years, working on three different destroyers in WWII. John graduated from the University of Massachusetts with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. He worked for Pratt & Whitney for 35 years as a Mechanical Engineer. John had many talents. He had a gift for woodworking and loved to make many things. He enjoyed fishing, boating, movies and playing the guitar were some of his passions. Most of all John loved spending time with his family. John married Constance Arlyn (Nims) on November 21, 1953. They had a devoted marriage for 56 years. One of their favorite hobbies was playing cards every afternoon at 4pm. Connie preceded him in death on November 21, 2009. He is survived by his two children, daughter Diane St. Pierre DeGaetano and her husband Sal, son Jim St. Pierre and wife Karin. He was loved by his three grandchildren Nicole DeGaetano, Michelle DeGaetano and Brian St. Pierre. Memorial service will be held on Monday, November 27, 2017, 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Howard-Quattlebaum Funeral Home, 754 U.S. Hwy 1, North Palm Beach FL 33408.
