Dear uncle eddie
I will always love you and I always looked forward to coming to Grammys house so that I could spend time with you and her. It was always so fun playing games with you like par cheesy. I will always remember the time when me, grammy, taylor and parker came to your work and you played the guitar for us. We loved spending time with you. 
It made me so happy when I was on the phone with Grammy and she mentioned when you got a new phone you put your background as a picture of me. I was always so happy to see you. I will miss you so much.  Love you, Riley 

My brother Eddie had the best sense of humor in our family, as kids he could make us laugh and have fun playing games like “the ghost game” “5000 Card Rummy” “Kucks” and many more that I will never forget. Eddie had a love for music with his favorite band being the Beatles and to this day I can remember most of the words to their songs because of him.  One year on Halloween (when I was in second grade) Eddie made an Ace Frehley (from the band KISS) costume for me because I had long blond hair at the time and he even talked me into writing a “book report” on “book reports” never the less I had to redo that one. As we got older and had families I will always remember and his love for old movies like “The Great Race” and “March of the Wooden Solders” that every time I watch them I will be thinking of him and I’m sure he will be smiling looking down on me. We would play family games at Christmas like “Guesstures” and “Scene it” Eddie would have the best clues and know all the old movies and singing Karaoke Eddie didn’t need to look at the words he know most songs by heart!  In recent years Eddie was in a lot of pain with health issues and life became a struggle for him. I believe God needed someone with his sense of humor to put smiles on faces in heaven and be with our Mother, Father and other loved ones who passed away.  

(I bet right now he is playing music with John Lennon and George Harrison of the Beatles and having a good time!) 

I will miss you brother and someday we will be together again to play more games!  Love Andy


I will  remember for all of my life the fun times we had growing up as brothers.  Like the times we would reenact sword fighting scenes from old Roman movies,  especially Jason and the Argonauts.  And the times when you,  me and Andrew would play the 'ghost game', our version of hide and seek in our bedroom  at night,  without the lights where the victim discovered would try to hide or escape the wrath of being 'beaten up' by the seeker.  Or the times when we were banished as kids to the 'basement' at Tilly's where we brothers and cousins would 'sneak'  and gamble until when we were eventually caught.  We had fun playing board games,  for money of course!  How about the time when we first moved to Titusville as kids and we would to play basketball in the garage using Harry's baby carriage as the basket?  Then there was the game 'Paste',  our version of Dodge Ball when the victim never stood a chance.  Lastly,  but not nearly in the least,  I remember when you would convince me to be your backup vocals as you sang and recorded on old tapes your Beatles songs. 

I will miss your incredible sense of humor.  Your funny one liners and amazing recall of movie and musical trivia,  down to the details of artist's lives and songs.  Your love for the Beatles whom I knew well because of your love for their music.  I admired your self taught talent for playing the guitar and drums and especially your free hand ability at art,  particularly your talent for drawing  the Peanuts characters.

All of  your pain and anxiety, dear brother,  are at last behind you.  Through God's immeasurable grace and mercy you are now in His presence,  along with those in our family who have also suffered untimely deaths like Jake, Kevin and my dear Marcia.

The greatest legacy in your life are your children:  Sharisse and Shawn.  They will continue to make you proud.  And you will remain in all of our hearts forever until we are all eventually reunited again.  All my love to you brother.   

Dear Shawn and Sharisse. I loved your messages about your Dad. And you are so right, in my opinion, that he was a kind, gentle soul who did not ever speak badly of anyone. He was quiet and gentle and always warm and friendly .  I pray he rests in peace with your grandma and Marsha and Jake.

Looking back on the good times I spent with my father growing up one thing seems to stand out more than others. Our nightly Jeopardy battles that sparked my thirst for knowledge. My father was a fairly intelligent man so keeping pace with him wasn't easy, but we always had a good time. When we weren't together we tried to keep it going over the phone until for whatever reason it ended. He also taught me how important a good sense of humor is in this serious and sometimes scary world. Ill never forget the good times dad! I love you rest in peace. Your onion head son.

My father was a bright light in this world. He was gentle and had a good heart. He never would speak bad about anyone and always tried to make people smile. He had the best jokes and played the best guitar I ever heard. I will never forget him and hope he is looking down on me and my brother as our guardian angel. Love you so much Dad. Serse
