I was so very saddened to hear of Blase's passing.  We worked "together" for a couple of decades!  Blase, you will be missed. Rest easy.

Deb, Blase was one of the Good Ones. His love for you, his boos and the people he worked with and served was evident in all he did. He will be sorely missed by all who knew him. Although your heart aches remember the good times and find peace in the knowledge that he is Home in Heaven...at peace and pain-free and you'll be reunited. God Bless you and give you peace.

I am so saddened at the loss of such a great man and smart/knowledgeable Sergeant. Blase was actually my first Sgt fresh out of the academy/Riviera PD) in my 30yr career as a cop and when doing 
undercover prostitution/drug stings I wouldn’t work it if Blase wasn’t the Sgt in charge. I felt safe with him and his supervisory/leadership skills were respected by  ALL 🙌 (THANK YOU BLASE FOR ALWAYS KEEPING EVERYONE SAFE & INLINE, YOU WERE THE BEST AND I GAINED A-LOT OF POLICE & LIFE KNOWLEDGE FROM YOU).
You will be loved and missed greatly ❤️😢

Way too many memories to list. Best friend through high school and college. almost came down with u , dennis, steve even though i was the only one with a police science degree. after coming down and seeing your house and future wife u did very well. even though Tank scared the hell out of me. RIP buddy

My deepest sympathies go out to Deb and her family for their loss. Not everyone is this lucky to marry, not only the love of their life and their best friend.

I extend  my deepest condolences to Blase' wife and family. It was hurtful for me to see him in his weakest state during his residency in rehab and the hospital. Our mutual respect for one another evolved into a kindred friendship when he became my immediate supervisor and I was his sergeant at Riviera Beach  PD. Trust and common sense aka "It's not rocket science" was his anthem. His wife and his show dogs were his love.  May Blase rest in peace as we stand fast in the shadow of the Lord.

Dear Deb,
With a heavy heart, I ask the Lord to wrap his healing arms around you and your family, to give you strength to see this through..
Our loss is doggie heavens gain, for all of the puppies who have gone ahead. How lucky they are to have both Blaze and Russ, two  top notch instructors to love and take care of them..
Blaze was an extraordinary man, who showed much strength, compassion and love and he will be missed deeply.
