Sara Janeth Martinez Born May 5, 1951 in Guayaquil, Ecuador. Daughter to Juana M. Escobar and Jorge A. Perez. She was the middle daughter with 7 siblings. She married Aldo Sabando in 1966 and had two children Ronnie and Mayra Sabando. five years later, she divorced and remarried the love of her life, Joaquin J. Martinez, with whom she had a son Joaquin Jose Martinez.
Sara is known for her high principles and virtuous moral values. Sara zealously defended her son, Joaquin, during his tumultuous times. Her perseverance and relentless pursuit of justice were instrumental in her son being able to prosper in life. Sara always displayed finesse and elegance, which inspired all of the people around her to be better. She was a kind and caring person going above and beyond to help others in need.
Her loving husband's passing was extremely difficult for her, but with the love of all those around her, she found the strength to overcome the obstacles and live life to the fullest. She inspired us by tackling any adversity that came her way. There was always a spark within her that made struggles seem a little easier, but if it became too much she would let things go with a little hand gesture shooing it away saying, ”tarari-que-te-vi.”
Sara's best attribute was her ability to bring the family together. She always managed to keep the family in touch with one another. Her presence in any gathering was always a joy, always helping wherever needed. Sara's beautiful smile, dancing, and laughter will forever be in our hearts. To this day even in spirit she still brings us together.
Sara dearly loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who will always keep her in their hearts. We were all blessed to have her in our lives. She will be terribly missed, for she touched the hearts of all who knew her. We will always reminisce about her life stories, adventures, and most of all her passion for cooking. Sara will continue to look out for us from heaven until we meet again.
