Theresa Rose Teta, 72, of Philadelphia, PA, passed away peacefully on December 2, 2024, and is now in the loving arms of the Lord. She was born on January 21, 1952, in Brooklyn, New York, to Gasper and Genevieve (Cava) Prestigiacomo. Theresa was a devoted member of St. Jude's Catholic Church in Jacksonville, AR, for twelve years before relocating to Philadelphia, where she continued her faithful service at St. Bernard Roman Catholic Church. She was a cherished member of the Allegiant of Mary and served as a Eucharistic Minister, sharing her deep faith with those around her. A proud and loving grandmother, Theresa adored her family and found joy in spending time with them. She had a passion for shopping, collecting Boyds Bears, and working on puzzles. Her favorite color was red, which brightened any room she entered. Theresa was preceded in death by her parents and her beloved husband, Frank Teta. She is survived by her children, grandchildren, and many other family members and friends who will continue to treasure her memory.
She is survived by three children, Michael Paul (Stephanie) Garrison, Melissa Garrison, and Anita (Kendall) Clemons; one brother, Paul (Marie Elena) Presti, one sister, Michelle Felver; and fourteen precious grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Monday December 9, 2024, at 9:00 AM at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock, AR. A Celebration of Mrs. Theresa Rose Teta's Life will follow at 10:00 AM with entombment at 11:00 AM at Rest Hills Memorial Park. Theresa's unwavering faith, warm heart, and kind spirit will be deeply missed by all who knew her. May she rest in eternal peace.
