Marcia Ann Marsh (nee Hesler) went painfree to her Lord and Savior April 2nd, 2020 in Little Rock, Arkansas. She was born unto this world July 15,1936 in Bethel, Ohio to Clyde Lowell Hesler and Mabel Marie Abbott Hesler. She was a 1954 graduate of Bethel-Tate High School and after graduation worked at Allis-Chalmers in Norwood, where she met her future husband and life long partner, Robert G Marsh, who preceded her in death in 2016. They were married in August of 1958 in Fort Thomas, KY and were the proud parents of two sons, Kevin Robert Marsh and Keith Randall Marsh. They moved in 1961 from KY to Forestville, Ohio where they raised their family and attended Faith United Church of Christ for 15 years. While in Cincinnati, Marcia enjoyed singing alto not only with her church choir, but also with the Forest Aires, a local women’s group. In the fall of 1976, Bob was transferred to Central Arkansas where they made their home for the next 44 years. Marcia was an active member of First United Methodist Church of NLR, a proud member of The Red Hat Club and enjoyed crafts, puzzles, gardening and a long list of beloved cats over the years. Surviving her are her two sons, daughter in law Leisa (Westbrook) and two grandchildren, Kyle Robert Marsh of Las Vegas and Kristen Marsh Alfaro (Adam) of Overland Park KS, cousins Charlene Snider of Batavia, Ohio, Roxanne Scales of Florida and her beloved cat Alvin. The family would like to thank the wonderful staff at Parkstone Place in NLR for the care and compassion they gave Marcia while she was a resident. They were (and are) the best. If so moved, Marcia asked that any memorials would be made to First UMC of NLR. Due to the current circumstances, a small graveside service for family only will be held at Rest Hills on Monday.
