Ellis worked a career in law enforcement, which he loved and his most recent place of employment was at Camp Robinson. He will be remembered for his high level of work ethic. Ellis was a United States Air Force Veteran who proudly served his country.
He was a loving and caring husband who enjoyed fishing, exploring, going to museums, watching football, television and movies, especially Western movies, and eating steaks and Mexican food.
Survivors include his wife Marmie Polk; family in the Philippines; daughters, Samantha Walker and Christina Mendez; a brother Donald Polk; two cats, Little Man & Joyce and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
A visitation for Ellis will be held Tuesday, May 9, 2023 from 2:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Rd., North Little Rock, Arkansas 72117. A committal Service will follow the visitation and will be held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at Rest Hills Memorial Park Cemetery.
