Joe and Dorothy Ann lived next door to each other in elementary school. In 4th grade, Joe looked across the driveway and told his cousin he was going to marry her. He stayed true to that course, dated only her and they married after high-school on August 21, 1954. They were married 65 years and Joe would often say he would never leave her side. This was true to the very moment they crossed into their eternal home hand in hand. They not only lived together but worked daily, side by side in their business. People rarely saw one without the other.
Their hearts were focused on Jesus first which set in motion a lifetime of love, laughter, commitment and impact. The greatest gift they gave us was teaching us to love Jesus and serve God with joy.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Central Baptist Church, North Little Rock, AR on Somers Ave.
