Ann S Phillips

She is survived by her two beloved children and their families, Michael Phillips (Linda Jo) and Leigh Ann Harvey; two grandsons, Michael Dane Phillips and Joshua Ryan Harvey; two great-grandchildren, Christopher and Paris Phillips; and many nieces and nephews.

Ann was born in England, Arkansas, to Henderson and Clara Slaughter.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Billy M. Phillips; eight siblings, Liburn Slaughter, Ernest Slaughter, H.F. Slaughter, Margaret Johnson Lucille Huckaby, Betty Nolen, Jean Tonar, and Jane West; and her son-in-law, Orvin “Buddy” Harvey Jr.

She was a member of Park Hill Baptist Church.

Ann had two priorities. Her faith and her favorite activity, spending time with her family. She was always available to help when needed, give advice, or offer encouragement. She had a “green thumb” and could make anything she planted flourish.

She was a lifelong hard worker, starting as a youngster picking cotton until retiring from AT&T in 1990.

She will be greatly missed by all who loved her, until we are reunited in Heaven.

Visitation will be held Friday December 1, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills in North Little Rock, AR. A Funeral service will be at 2:00PM. Burial will immediately follow services at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
