A funeral service will be held on December 26, 2024, at 9:15 am at the Star of David Memorial Chapel, located at 7701 Bailey Road, North Lauderdale, FL 33068, United States.
Following the funeral service, a committal service will take place on the same day at 11:00 am at the South Florida National Cemetery, located at 6501 S. State Road 7, Wellington, FL 33449, United States.
In his Navy days Ernie enjoyed watching the wake at night on the U.S.S. Enterprise, the ship he served on in the U.S. Navy.
In his wake he leaves behind Shirley, his wife of 68 years, his three sons Leigh, Scott and Mitchell, along with daughters-in-law Terry and Rhonda; and four grandchildren, Ryan, Ashley, Carly and Tori. Ryan and his wife, Ellen are raising Ernie’s Great Granddaughters: Madelyn and Macy.
Amazingly, all were present at his 90th Birthday celebration this past November (photo in the gallery).
