Born on June 21, 1931, in Esteli, Nicaragua, he eventually made his way to the United States where he spent his life exploring every bookstore in Los Angeles and raising his family with his loving wife Gladys.
Luis worked the majority of his life for General Electric, where he was known for his honesty and skill. But his real passions were reading, maintaining a healthy lifestyle, and everything tango which included music & dance. You could not be around him without hearing some Carlos Gardel music being played - but the real treat was watching him tango dance.
He has now reunited with his beloved wife of 61 years, Gladys, in heaven.
He is survived by his children, Lucy Juarez, Luis Martinez, Celia and Miguel Briones, and Enrique and Grace Lopez; his grandchildren, and great-grandchildren who brought him immense joy.
