David Keith Anderson was born on October 3rd, 1940 in Boston Massachusetts. He was the 9th child of 13 children to the late Lillith and Sydney Anderson. David was a product of the Boston city school system. David moved with his family to California where he enlisted in the Army and became part of the 155th Airborne as a medic. He spent over 40 years in Ventura Unified School District as a custodian and eventually retired as the Plant Manager at Ventura High School. David found his passion for working in Ventura as an unofficial union representative. He eventually become a Uni-Serve Director and served as the union representative for the staff in the Madison, Wisconsin School District. David was an avid reader and enjoyed taking camping trips with his family to the various sites in Utah. Capital Reef was his favorite National Park to visit. He leaves in cherished memory, his wife Tracy of 37 years; daughters Deidre (Patrick King), Ashley (Alvin Henry), and Morgen; two granddaughters Lavarra and Kari Henry; his sisters Pat Fuller and Brook Bonner and his two brothers Donald and Craig Anderson; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends. David was predeceased by Joseph, Sydney, Carlton, Thomas, Lloyd, Aubrey, Warner, and Marilyn.
