Brenda Faye Carter

who slipped the bonds of earth on Tuesday, April 22, 2014 at her home in Burbank, California. She had been ill for over a year with congestive heart failure, COPD and kidney malfunctions.

Brenda was born in Oklahoma on March 14, 1950 to Margret Lela & Albert Chaloupek. She married Larry G. Carter in Santa Monica in 1968.

Brenda Attended LVN training in 1969 and worked as a nurse for several years before changing her career path to accounting. She worked many years for Texaco Oil Co and Unocal.

Upon the unfortunate happenings of September 11, 2001, Brenda felt strongly about helping her country avoid another terrorist attack. She joined forces with TSA in Homeland Security and worked in that field at Bob Hope Airport in Burbank, CA for over ten years until her health declined. She always enjoyed her job, her coworkers, and the contribution she felt they were making to our country.

She is survived by her Son- Vance Eugene Carter, Burbank, CA, Sister- Sharon K Pfeiffer & Sister in law, Cindy Heberling of North Hollywood, CA, Nieces; Terry Lynn Zenner of Sylmar, CA; Tricia Marie Minard, Oklahoma City, OK, Nephew, Jerry Patrick Pfeiffer of Nampa, ID, and five great nieces & nephews.

Brenda was a wonderful Mother, Sister, Daughter and Friend to many. She will be sorely missed.
