Her funeral service will be at 3:00PM on Wednesday, July 27, 2022, in the Chapel of Carolina Memorial Funeral Home, North Charleston. Internment will follow in Carolina Memorial Gardens. Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Roper St. Francis Hospice, 1483 Tobias Gadsden Blvd, Suite 109B, Charleston, SC 29407. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 until the hour of service Wednesday.
Ms. Malay was born June 28, 1936, in Williamsburg County, SC, a daughter of Berton T. Eaddy and Nellie Alnor Hughes Bolyn. She was a member of Heritage Holiness Church. Ms. Malay enjoyed fishing, gardening and spending time at the lake house with her family. She is predeceased by her father and mother, a daughter, Cynthia Jean Willis, a great grandson, Joshua Maxwell, sisters, Dora Mae Jowers, Fannie P. Bowles, Leona V. McKenzie, Moeaden E. McCrea, Wannah Lena James, Annie Laura McCants & Clarice Keith Thompson, one brother, Capers Wesley Eaddy. She was the widow of Jerry Matthew Judy and Joe Malay.
Surviving are two sons, Mark A. Judy and Philip B. Judy both of Moncks Corner. One daughter, Kristal J. English (Scot) of Ladson. 10 grandchildren, Sheri Maxwell (Hector), Shon Judy (Tracy), Ashley Philbeck (Cameron), Matthew Judy (Ashley), Kayla Paulson (Shawn), Cassandra Staley, Micah English, Mason Judy, Rachel Zurcher (Chris), and Layla Judy. 17 great grandchildren and two sisters, Bertie McCrea of Murrells Inlet and Wista Brown of Kingstree as well as many nieces and nephews.
