Mrs. Martha Frances Benton

Frances Benton SUMMERVILLE ­ Peacefully in the early morning hours of August 20, 2017 Frances McKenzie Benton entered the kingdom of heaven. Frances was born June 12, 1938 in Andrews, South Carolina to the late Luella Bauer McKenzie and Thurston McKenzie. Her life long career was serving the Lord and taking care of her beloved family along with working at Charleston Heights Baptist Academy and the Army Corps of Engineers/Naval shipyard. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Patricia Benton Hunter, Tracie Benton Mason, and her son Michael (Carolyn), 3 grandchildren Austin Benton, Corrie Benton and McKenzie Mason along with her beloved four legged companion Savannah all of Summerville Four sisters Jimmie Fay Johanning, Patricia Nalls, Nancy Howard and Linda Tilton all of Andrews as well as her Best friend Florence Brown. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Jack and sister Susan McKenzie Tilton. She will be missed but forever remembered by all those who knew and loved her. Memorial services will be held Saturday the 26 of August at 11 am at International Church of God 1560 Ashley River Rd , Chas S.C. 29407 .
