Lillian Myrtle Bilton Roberson

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 30, 2018 at the Carolina Memorial Funeral Home from 6 to 8 pm. The Life Well Celebrated Service being held Wednesday, January 31, at 11am in the Carolina Memorial Chapel. Burial will take place at Carolina Memorial Park then a catered reception will follow back at the funeral home.

Myrtle was born November I l, 1919 in Rosinville (Dorchester County), SC. The daughter of the late Jacob John Bilton and Lillie Mims Bilton. She was a 1936 graduate and Class Valedictorian of Harleyville High School. She was a member of Cherokee Place United Methodist Church. She was a Life Member of the Charleston Rifle Club Ladies Auxiliary, and a member of the Charleston Rifle Club Ladies Auxiliary Bowling League.

Survivors include her daughter, Gail A. Estridge of Hanahan, SC, two grandsons, Harold D. Mahaffey (Renea) of Anderson, SC, Michael D. Mahaffey of Hanahan, SC. Three great grandchildren Danielle, Dustin and Ashton Mahaffey and four great, great grandchildren. As well as many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by four brothers: Arthur, Eddie, Wilson and AB Bilton. And four sisters: Dearsie Grooms, MayBell Pearson, Mellie Britt and MaeOla Tumolo.
