It is with heavy hearts that we announce the untimely passing of Jose Nieto Jr., a vibrant and beloved young man, at the tender age of 15. He departed this world on December 20, 2023, leaving behind a void that can never be filled. Born to Elvia Chavez and Jose Nieto Sr., Jose "Junior" is survived by his loving parents, his sister, his girlfriend, his aunt who was like a second mother to him, three cherished cousins who were more like brothers, and two dear friends, alongside many other family members who held a special place in his heart.

A freshman at Goose Creek High School, Jose was a young soul with a zest for life and an infectious smile that lit up any room. He had a passion for fashion, expressing himself through clothing, shoes, and fragrances. Dining at fancy restaurants brought him joy, and he had a particular fondness for the beach, relishing moments spent outdoors. A lover of music, Jose not only enjoyed listening but also creating his own variation of music.

Known for his jovial nature, Jose was a jokester who cherished laughter and had a knack for brightening the spirits of those around him. His enthusiasm for sports cars reflected his adventurous spirit, and he shared this passion with his close-knit circle. A true people person, Jose leaves behind a legacy of warmth, kindness, and the ability to forge connections that will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.

Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the visitation, which will be held at Carolina Memorial Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 26th, from 5-7 pm. The address is 7113 Rivers Ave, North Charleston, SC 29406.

A Catholic Mass funeral service to celebrate Jose's life will take place at Immaculate Conception Church promptly at 10:00am, located at 510 St James Ave, Goose Creek, SC 29445.

The burial will follow at Carolina Memorial Park and Gardens, 7113 Rivers Ave, North Charleston, SC 29406.
