James Hayes Salter, 75, of North Charleston, husband of Anne Buenviaje Salter, entered into eternal rest December 21, 2018 at his home. James was born in Wilmington, NC, a son of the late Bruce H. Salter and Gayle Cummings.
He was a self employed construction worker / painter, and enjoyed hunting, fishing and playing computer games.
James is survived by his wife of 16 years, Anne Salter, his son James Salter Jr (wife Kimberly Mechell) of Athens, Georgia, and daughters Angela Salter of Georgia, Tracy Ussery (husband Joseph) of Summerville and Donna Salter of Georgia. He is also survived by his brother Bruce Salter (wife Barbara) of Round O.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a son, Timothy Rae Salter.
The relatives and friends of James Salter are invited to attend his funeral services at 1:00 pm on Friday, December 28, 2018 at CAROLINA MEMORIAL FUNERAL HOME, burial will be private. The family will receive friends 1 hour before the funeral service .
