Dorothy Esta Mae Gilliam was received into Heaven on September 9, 2017, at 9:18pm. Dorothy was born on June 28, 1939 in Orangeburg SC. She was the wife of the late Wallas Gilliam. She was preceded in death by her husband, Wallas Gilliam, and her son, Wally Gilliam. Surviving are her son, Barry Gilliam and his wife, Cheryl. Also surviving are three beautiful grandchildren whom she adored: Tiffany, Mary, Kirsten, and one grandson,Tyler whom she adored very much. Dorothy loved making bead necklaces and collecting coins. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 16, 2017, at 11:00am in the chapel of Carolina Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 6-8pm, at the funeral home. Burial will take place on Saturday after the 11 am funeral service at Carolina Memorial Park.
