Mr. Coker, son of the late William Washington Coker and Nettie Mae Kirby, was born on June 17, 1943 in Williamsburg County. He was marred to his late wife Beulah Coker (Libby) for 49 years. He was a dedicated husband, daddy and papa to his family. He was a one of a kind and will take a whole lot of legacies with him, but he leaves lots of love and memories of a life well spent. His Joys were life outdoors, fishing, gardening, and camping. We will miss the many stories he would tell, the smile of his face, the fish he would fry, his giving heart and “his life of the party” attitude. He never met a stranger. He has resided in Hanahan for 50 years. Surviving are daughter Michele (Richard) DeAbate of Hanahan, Grandchildren, Stephen Chadwick of Hanahan, SC, Nacole (Parker) Dempsey of Orangeburg, SC, Whitney (Jamie) Dunning of Edisto Island, SC, Dalton (Kerri) Coker of Hanahan, SC; Great grandchildren: Mason Chadwick (13), Coker Dempsey (7), Hattie Warren (7), Ansleigh Dunning (7), Olivia Dunning (6), Annie J. Dempsey (5), Maddox Dunning (2), Emersyn Coker (7 mo.); as well as his beloved sister Diane Coker McKenzie of Kingstree, SC.
