Ryan Andrew Johnson

Ryan passed away unexpectedly on September 24, 2013. He was born on May 9, 1980 and lived in Redmond, WA. until he moved to North Bend in 1990. He graduated from Mt. Si High in 1998. He joined the Marines for a 5 year enlistment, and served 2 separate tours in Iraq. He received his Bachelor's degree from the U of W in Comparative Literature. He was a avid movie buff and was wanting to break into the film industry.

His passion to travel took him to many parts of the world such as Ireland and Belgium. His favorite trip was to Iceland in 2012. He loved to try all kinds of food on his travels.

Ryan is survived by his parents, Barbara and Chris Stoll of North Bend, and Mike Johnson of Everett, WA, brother Michael Johnson (Rose) of Redmond, WA., sister, Mandi Hays (Joel) nieces Sarah and Katie of North Bend, and niece, Jessica Walla of Everett, WA.

He was predeceased by his older sister Shanda Walla in 1998.

He will be missed greatly by his many loving grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, friends and family.

Ryan will be laid to rest at the Tahoma National Cemetery on Oct. 11, 2013 at 2:30pm.

There will be a "Celebration of his Life" on Oct. 19th at the North Bend Theater from 10:30 until 2:30. Come and share your favorite story of Ryan.
