Sarah Kay Stroud

Sarah loved God, her husband, Jeff, her family and life. She loved animals, especially her dogs and cat and would not hurt the smallest of insects. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, going to the gym, and going to the beach; and all of these things she did with the love of her life, Jeff. They were truly a couple who did not want to be apart and loved the time spent with one another.

Sarah was employed with Walmart for 28 years. Her and Jeff attended Life Church in Moore and Sarah’s faith was of utmost importance to her.

Those left to cherish her memory are her husband and best friend of 18 years, Jeff Stroud; her mother, Doris June Vanderburg; her father-in-law and mother-in-law, Ben and Cathy Stroud; grandmother-in-law, Delores Holmes; sister, Ruth McIntosh and her husband, Russell and their children: Derek, Aspen, Blake and Brooke McIntosh; brother: Craig Henson and his wife, Misty and their children: Johnnie Henson, Debbie Reinstatler, Angela Henson, Dustin Henson, Kayla Fent, Devin Vaughn Fent and Zac Fent, and brother, Jimmy Ward and his children: Chris, Rebecca, and Rachel Ward; sister-in-law, Jami Ervin and her husband, Ben and their children: Allysia, Ashley and Michael Ervin; and her late brother, Bobby Gene, Jr. children, Ashley Miller, Dana Vanderburg, James Morris, Josh Vanderburg, Asa Vanderburg, and Christelle Vanderburg; and numerous extended family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her father, Bobby Gene Vanderburg; and brother, Bobby Gene Vanderburg, Jr.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Oklahoma State Trooper Association and Childrens Miracle Network through Walmart.

Visitation will be held 4:00 to 8:00 pm, Thursday, November 8, 2018 at Primrose Funeral Service. A celebration of life will be held 11:00 am, Friday, November 9, 2018 at Primrose funeral Service.
