Ronnie Lavon Fowler

Ronnie was born to Addie Turner-Fowler and Lester Fowler in Blair, Oklahoma on July 6, 1940.

Ronnie passed away in the presence of his remaining family after a yearlong struggle from complications of a stroke.

Ronnie is preceded in death by his parents, sister Rita, brother Tommy, his wife Ruby L. Fowler, and youngest child Rachelle Fowler.

He is survived by his brother Preston, son Ricky, daughter Andrea Longman, grandson Garrett Smith, and many nieces and nephews.

In 1961, Ronnie married his childhood sweetheart Ruby Lea Fowler. In 1972 they adopted their first child, Ricky. Two years later, adopted their second child Rachelle.

Ronnie worked very hard to provide for his family, but he spent every free moment he could with his children; whether in Boy Scouting events, Girl Scouts, or Campfire Girls, Ronnie was happy to support his kids.
