Patricia was proud to be a multi-generation born San Franciscan and enjoyed spending time with her family and friends who became like family.
Patricia was a professional caregiver to many family members and friends throughout the years giving more to them than to herself. She also found new friends everywhere she went due to her loving nature to all. An avid reader, Patricia never stopped believing in the best ideals found in the works of fiction and that they were present in each of us, every day.
Patricia also enjoyed spending time gardening and, like her parents had great success in growing things in large size and/or abundance.
Patricia passed from this Earth after a brief illness on December 1, 2024 in Norman, Oklahoma while helping take care of family.
Patricia was predeceased by her parents John Joseph and Grace Winifred Frost, her brother Jack Noel Frost and her sister Janice Marie Frost Barbour and unfortunately her nephew and godson Joel “James” Shears Barbour only predeceased her by a few days in death.
Patricia is survived by her brother-in-law Joel Barbour of Norman, Oklahoma, nephew John Barbour (& wife Margaret Landis Barbour) of Norman, Oklahoma, cousin Fred Hart of San Francisco, California and by “adopted” family Jacob Tabb (& wife Sara) of Lincoln City, Oregon and Anya Tabb (& husband Scott Hancock) of Olympia, Washington.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in memory of Patricia Frost to her lifetime church (Saint Cecilia Catholic Church 2555 17th Ave San Francisco, San Francisco, CA 94116).
A combined live-streamed service with her nephew James Barbour will be held 1PM, Wednesday, December 11, 2024 at Primrose Funeral Service in Norman, OK. Patricia will be laid to rest in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Norman, OK.
