Lora received her Certificate of High School Equivalence State of Missouri on November 1, 1983 and an Associates of Arts Degree in Union, Missouri at East Central College in May of 1986. Lora loved working for the printing company for over 20 years before retirement. Before moving to Norman in 2016, Lora grew up in Missouri before moving to Illinois as a teenager and moved back to Missouri in 1975. Lora was very eclectic with her music and enjoyed Tina Turner while traveling. She loved the colors coral pink and fall colors, walking, a sunny day outside watching animals, sunsets, the night sky, and spending time with family. Lora always laughed while telling the story about how the family had gathered together and she took all the babies and children and placed them on the kitchen table for a family photo and she found that the most amusing story.
Lora taught others how to be independent and have a sense of adventure. She did not want anyone to think about the past or future, but to be focused on the present. Although, Lora would sit and think about what kind of person she wanted to be as an old person. She thought about the outfits she would wear and the hairstyle she would keep. She considered how she would walk.
Lora is preceded in death by her parents.
