Kenneth Ervin Reynolds

He was born on October 22, 1928 in Woodward, OK to late Howard and Irene Reynolds. He grew up in Woodward, moved to Boulder and moved back to Woodward to graduate from High School in 1947.

Ken married Ramona Marie Brenner in 1948. They moved to Norman in 1954 for Ken to attend the Univ. of Oklahoma at the age of 26. Ken graduated in 1961 with a degree in accounting and became a

CPA in spring of 1962. He went to work for Arthur Andersen for four years and then into private practice for the next 46 years.

Ken and Ramona had seven children and in the late 60's moved the family to a farm south of Noble. Ken was a CPA by day and a farmer on nights and weekends.

In 1987, Ken became a representative of HD Vest Financial Services and was elected to the Board of Directors in 1993 until 2001. Ken enjoyed adding personal financial services to his accounting practice. He loved the challenges of learning new things and sharing them with his clients.

Ken also taught at the Univ. of Oklahoma on two different occasions as a Visiting Professor for a total of seven years. Ken didn't have any hobbies other than work.

Ken is survived by his wife Ramona of 62 years; son and wife, Steve and Macy; daughter and husband, Nichelle and Rick; daughter, Debbie; son, Greg; daughter and husband, Paula and Nick; and son Matt; 9 Grandchildren and 5 Great-Grandchildren; Ken's sister Bonnie and brother Ronald.

Ken was preceded in death by his parents and his son Patrick.

Services will be held at 3:30pm on Friday, Dec 31, 2010 at St Joseph's Catholic Church, 421 E. Acres, Norman. Internment will be in Woodward, OK on Saturday Jan. 1, 2011. In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to St. Vincent DePaul of St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
