Joan Marie Ogle left this earth life on Nov. 1, 2011 at the age of 74 to return to our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Joan was born Nov. 8, 1937 in Woodward, Okla. the daughter of Frank and Allene Mixon Ogle. She attended high school in Norman and graduated in 1956. After graduating she was employed with the Dept. of Human Services until her retirement in 1988. Joan was an avid reader and also enjoyed interacting with nature. She lovingly tended to feeding the birds, deer and an assortment of other "critters" who entered her back yard. Joan also befriended, fed and adopted many stray cats who came to her door scared and hungry.
She is survived by two sisters, Patricia (Mrs. Duane McElhaney) and Barbara (Mrs. Ted Polasek) and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother-in-law and a niece.
