Donald Ray “Don” Leppke was born on February 9, 1955, in Marion, Kansas. He was the son of Archie and Irene (Francis) Leppke. He grew up in Hillsboro, Kansas, attending Hillsboro Public Schools and graduating from Hillsboro High School in 1974. Following his education he married Phyllis Cherry in Moundridge, Kansas, on June 25, 1977. He worked for CW Realty in Maintenance. In 1985 they made their home in Norman.
He is survived by his wife of thirty eight year, Phyllis Leppke of the home; one brother, Terry Leppke of Oregon; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Don’s Family will be at Primrose Funeral Service on Wednesday, March 9, 2016, to greet friends.
Graveside services will be held on Thursday, March 10, 2016, at the Ebenfeld Mennonite Cemetery at 2:00 pm in Hillsboro, Kansas, with Rev. Gaylord Goertzen officiating. Burial will follow in the Ebenfeld Mennonite Cemetery.
