Andrea Dawn Sliger

Andrea Sliger was born on March 12, 1981 in Idabel Oklahoma to Eujean and Ethel Spencer. Andrea departed this life on April 23, 2023 surrounded by loved ones. Andrea was taken from this world by ovarian cancer. She handled her diagnosis with the grace and poise she was known for.

Andrea attended high school at Idabel High School; she graduated in 1999. It was there she met Brad Sliger. The two married September 18, 2009. To this union, a daughter was born: Claire Sliger.

Andrea earned her Bachelors of Science in accounting from the University of Central Oklahoma. She went on to take the role of Senior Auditor for the State Auditor and Inspector Office for The State of Oklahoma.

Andrea loved traveling and visiting national parks, she enjoyed trying new things, and she was an avid reader; she was even selected to receive advanced reader copies of books from her favorite authors.

She was strong, sweet, and strove to live a life of adventure and love; Andrea will be deeply missed by those she leaves behind.

She leaves to cherish her memories the love of her life and husband of 13 years, Brad Sliger, her parents: Eujean T. Spencer and Ethel (Russell) Spencer, her child: Claire Sliger, her siblings: Denise Spencer, Marsha Arbuckle, Adrian "Shawn" Russell, Erica Woodard, and Nicole Spencer.

A celebration of life service will be held Wednesday, May 3, 2023 at 2:00PM at Primrose Funeral Service in Norman, Oklahoma.
