Reba Brock Bernard

Reba Brock Bernard, age 92, of Norfolk, Virginia passed away on Sunday, May 8, 2022. Reba was born January 17, 1930 in North Carolina and resided in Norfolk, Virginia for over fifty years. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard Lee Bernard, Sr., two sons Darryl Bernard and Timothy Bernard. Mrs. Bernard was a longtime member of New Berean Baptist Church in Portsmouth. Survivors include her children, Howard L. Bernard, Jr. and Beverly Cruz and a grandson Julian Bernard; and a sister Otis Mae Bright of Forestville, Maryland. A Celebration of Life will be held at New Berean Baptist Church, 3600 Bamboo Road, Portsmouth, Virginia on Monday, May 23, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Graveside services will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens and a reception at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, Va.
