Paul Arellano

Paul Arellano, 82, passed away in Norfolk on Saturday, January 24, 2015. Paul was born in Lian Bantagas, Philippines to the late Pedro and Rose de los Reyes Arellano. He is also predeceased by his son, Winnie Arellano. Paul retired after 22 years of service from the US Navy and from the Civil Service after 17 years. He was a Master Mason for the Norfolk Lodge #1 for 35 years. In his spare time he loved spending time with his family crabbing at the beach and cooking. He is survived by his loving wife, Josephine "Jody"; children, Imelda Maso, Jerry Arellano, both of the Philippines, Rhonda Fortin of Branson, MO and Carla Carlson of Arvada, CO; 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. There will be a visitation from 6-8pm, Wednesday night at Smith and Williams Norfolk Chapel where Masonic Rites will be conducted. A graveside service will be conducted at 11am, Thursday at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Norfolk with USN military honors rendered.
