Marion Smith Williams

Marion Smith Williams, age 91, passed away on Saturday, August 6, 2022. She was born July 15, 1931 to the late James and Serley Smith in Norfolk, Virginia. She is preceded in death by her husband, Willard R. Williams. Marion graduated from South Norfolk High School in 1949. She was a member of Faith Temple Pentecostal Freewill Baptist Church and The Gideon Wives Auxiliary. She was a master seamstress and Christmas ornament maker. She was a loving wife, mother and granny. She is survived by her sons, Terry Williams (Cherie); Van Williams (Eileen) and Nathan Williams (Lynda); her daughters Linda Stallings (Robert); Gloria Olson (Gregg) and Angela Davis-Sheppard (Richard); 10 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren. A visitation for Marion will be held Wednesday, August 10, 2022 at 9:30 AM at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk, Virginia 23502, followed by a funeral service with burial to follow at 10:00 AM.
