Margie Ann Smith

Margie Ann Smith 83, went home to be with the Lord on June 1, 2021. She was born on October 9, 1937 in Edgecomb County North Carolina. She is preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Raleigh Smith, Jr. and her mother, Daisy Bell Harrell. Margie had a long career as a budget clerk for the United States government for over 30 years. She is survived by her daughter, Sandy Smith; son, Raleigh Smith, III (Leigh); and youngest daughter, Tina Lynch; grandchildren, Erik Crawford (Nicole); Justin Crawford ( Tiffany); Trevor Crawford; Megan Smith and Myles Smith; great-grandchildren, Erik Jr., Lincoln, Elena, Leittei, Brody, Brylee and Matthew Swanner; sister-in-law‘s, Ruth Ann Coghill and Brenda Allen; five brother-in-law’s and numerous nieces, nephews and friends.
