Margaret Fagen Jordan passed in peace at her home at the side of her loving husband, Raymond Jordan, signing off 82 years of love and humor, in her words, “I’ve lived a good life.” Born on New Year’s Day 1939, the lifelong redhead and resident of Norfolk worked in the florist industry, devoting herself to five children, Freddie, Kenny, and Daryl Rowe, Raymond and Kellie Jordan, 10 grandchildren, and 13 great-grandchildren.
Her work here done, God called Margaret to a heavenly reunion with parents, Herbert Nash and Clara Bryan; brothers, Willard and James Bryan; sister, Dreama Hudson and brother-in-law, Walter Hudson. She is survived by her sister, Darlene Ashley.
A visitation will be held on Monday, November 29, 2021 from 5-7 pm. The funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 with burial to follow. All services will be at Woodlawn Funeral Home & Memorial Gardens at 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd., Norfolk, VA 23502.
