David Lee Brady

David Lee Brady, 80, passed away November 9, 2024. David was born in North Carolina to the late Lawton and Edith Brady. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife, Joann Arsenault Brady and two brothers: Richard Penn Brady and Leonard Lawton Brady. David worked as the Maintenance Supervisor for the Norfolk Botanical Gardens. He was an enthusiastic supporter of the North Carolina Tar Heels, an avid NASCAR fan, and a passionate collector of coins along with taking great pride in decorating the gardens for the holidays, his enthusiasm made it a tradition that brought joy to everyone. Left behind to cherish his memory is his daughter, Pamela Ricci; one grandchild, Carter; sister, Patricia Gail Brady Ellis; and a host of other family and friends. The family invites you to a time of visitation on Friday, November 15, 2024 from 5-7 p.m. at Woodlawn Funeral Home, 6329 E. Virginia Beach Blvd, Norfolk. His funeral service will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2024 at 10 a.m. at the funeral home. He will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Memorial Gardens following the service.
