Clyde Junior Greene, 94, passed away on September 30, 2021. He was born in Sutton, WV, to the late Earl and Macel Greene. Clyde served his country during WWII and retired after 20 years of service. He also retired as Captain from the Chesapeake Sheriff’s Department. He was a compassionate, caring and thoughtful man; he will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 24 years, Ruth A. Greene; 2 daughters, Barbara Shandy (Richard) and Lucretia Holloway (Mike); a son, Lynwood Adams; as well as 8 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; 2 nieces, Barbara Prough and Nancy Westfall; and nephew Larry Steinman. He was predeceased by his son, Richard Greene; 2 brothers; and 3 sisters.
