Ann Spry Williams

Ann Williams went to be with the Lord on October 12, 2019 among family in Virginia Beach. She was born January 25, 1939 in South Norfolk to Purvis Spry and Mabel Spry Newsome. Ann spent her life in Tidewater working as a legal secretary and a business owner. She was a long-time member of Rock Church in Virginia Beach. She was an avid traveler and at one time in her life owned a travel agency. One of her favorite trips was to Jerusalem, Israel. Ann is preceded in death by her father, Purvis Spry; mother, Mabel Spry Newsome; and sister, Mildred Spry Amati of California. Left to remember Ann is her loving husband of 35 years, Elliott Williams; three sons, William (Bill) Higgins and his wife Sandy of Norfolk, Dallas Kevin Higgins and his wife Joan of Nederland, Texas, and James (Jim) Higgins and wife Sherry of Norfolk. Her grandchildren; Kelley Higgins, Brian Higgins, James Higgins Jr., Bradley Higgins, Ryan Rice, and Erin Higgins. Between Ann and Elliot there were 8 children, 18 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren, and 7 great great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Rock Church 640 Kempsville Rd.
