Her parents were the proprietors of Jones’ Grill, a family owned establishment from the 1950’s to the 1970’s. She was a 1966 graduate of Union Kempsville High School. Alice was not much of a talker, she took care of her family and worked at several jobs. She retired as a tunnel officer
with VDOT apart of The Elizabeth River Tunnel.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jeremiah and Mary Lee Jones; brothers, William and Matthew Jones; sisters, Gertrude Elizabeth Jones Mills, Shirley Eleanor Jones Mosley, and Carrie Lee Jones Harris; and daughter, Sheri Ann Jones. She leaves to cherish her most fondest memories her husband, Harry; one daughter, Channon Radcliff (Darius); stepchildren, Rodney Coker (Measha) and Kim Jubilee (Kenny); four grandchildren, Iziah, Rodnee, Jada and Kyron Coker (Elise); one sister, Lucile Barbara Ann
Jones Melvin; one sister-in-law, Kattie Louise Thompson, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
