She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 59 years, Warren F. Bergeron Sr., son, Warren F. Bergeron Jr., grandson, Warren “Trey” Bergeron III, parents, Henry R. Miller and Elta Haydel Miller, and siblings, Kay Szubinski and Henry R. Miller Jr.
She is survived by her beloved children, Celeste Donaldson (Keith), Joelle Aiple (the late Roger), David Bergeron (Lisa), and Randall Bergeron (Tracey). She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and her sister, Melanie White (Wayne).
Marilyn worked as a secretary at Kaiser Aluminum and St. Charles Grain Elevator and was the office manager at Ormond Country Club. She was a parishioner of Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Norco, LA where she sang in the choir and led marriage encounter retreats with her husband. She loved cooking, baking, crafting, and sewing. She always looked forward to entertaining friends and family. She will be missed by all who were blessed to know her.
The family would like to give a special thanks to the entire staff at The Blake at Colonial Club in Harahan, LA for the loving care they gave to Marilyn.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, October 12, 2024 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 401 Spruce St, Norco, LA. Visitation will be held from 9 AM – 11 AM with a funeral Mass to begin at 11 AM. Interment will follow at St. Charles Borromeo Cemetery in Destrehan, LA.
