Mr. Schultz was born on May 30, 1925 in New London the son of Thomas and Clara Haynes Schultz. He is predeceased by his wife Hilda in 2000. He served in the US Army in WWII seeing action in Italy as a member of 34th Div. 168th Infantry. Ted retired after 44 years with the Public Works Dept., Town of East Lyme, as foreman. He was a life member of the American Legion Post 9 in New London and the VFW post 5849 in Niantic.
Mr. Schultz is survived by his two sons James H. Schultz Jr. and his wife Michele of Waterford and Robert W. Schultz and his wife Linda of East Lyme, his daughter Nancy and her husband Rick Nobles of Groton, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. He is predeceased by daughter Linda Kennison, his brother Linwood Schultz and his sister Edith Sousa.
A funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, December 28, 2010 at 2:00pm in Fulton-Theroux Funeral Home, 13 Lake Ave., Niantic, CT 06357.
