Passed away unexpectedly on January 12, 2022 in Niagara Falls. Loving daughter of Claire Anita Fraser and the late Terrance Brien Herbert. Dear sister of Michael Robert Fraser and his wife Heidi. Predeceased by her grandparents Anita and Russell Fraser.
Lori was born at Hotel Dieu Hospital in Kingston on February 13th, 1973. She spent her child years in a small knit community outside Ottawa; later attended boarding school at Havergal College in Toronto. She was an Ontario Scholar and studied Psychology at Queen's University where she met her one true love: "Rich" Richard Morgan. She completed all Guiding levels and became a Junior Brownie Leader; all swimming badges and became a swimming instructor. She worked with brain injury patients in the pool at Hugh MacMillan Rehabilitation Hospital and taught swimming for the Toronto School Board. Lori was a sweet, kind and giving person. She loved to read and dearly loved her dogs: Addison, Toby and Mickey and her childhood family dog, Tiffany. Her loving grandmother, Anita was a special light in her life; and her brother, Michael meant the world to her. Lori and her mother Claire also enjoyed travelling together, and made many lasting memories.
Cremation has taken place and was entrusted to Hetherington and Deans Funeral Chapel (905-354-5614). Lori will be buried in the family plot at Pinecrest Cemetery in Ottawa on Wednesday, February 9, 2022 at 2 p.m. The graveside service will be livestreamed and the link can be found below. If desired, memorial donations made to the Canadian Mental Health Association, Canadian National Institute for the Blind (Guide Dogs) or Kingston Humane Society would be appreciated by the family.
